Hi, I’m Maria Teresa Restrepo, a peer coach at ImPower.

I’m originally from Colombia and speak Spanish and English.

I know from my own experience what it feels like when life takes an unexpected turn. I have navigated changes involving new countries, languages and cultures, and I also understand what it is like to feel lonely or uncertain about the way forward. These experiences have helped me connect with people from many different backgrounds with openness, understanding and without judgement.

Throughout my life, I have gained experience supporting women through difficult and challenging periods. As a mother of three now-adult children, I also understand many of the challenges that can come with growing up, becoming independent and finding your place in adult life.

As a peer coach, I offer a friendly and supportive space where you can talk openly about what is happening in your life. Whether you want to share your doubts, fears or dreams, work through a difficult situation, or simply have someone listen while you consider your next steps, I would be happy to spend some time with you.
